Cinematic Couple Session in Amsterdam

Julia and Jacob, a Swedish couple living in Amsterdam, wanted a fun, cinematic photoshoot in the heart of the city. My vision was to capture them during golden hour and blue hour, letting the city’s energy, architecture, and light become part of the story. And the shoot couldn’t have turned out any better.

It was mid-April, a warm day that slowly turned chilly as evening approached. The soft golden sunset bathed the streets as people walked by and cyclists rode past. Julia and Jacob ran from street to street, stealing kisses in between, full of laughter and movement.

As the sun faded, Amsterdam gradually shifted into night mode, and we captured the city glowing in rich blues and sparkling lights — a perfect mix of intimacy, energy, and cinematic magic. It was such a fantastic evening, and the photos truly tell the story of the city and Julia & Jacob’s connection.
