Engagement Shoot in the Wachau

Celina and Johannes couldn’t have chosen a better place for their engagement session than the Wachau Valley — where Johannes proposed. Returning here made the shoot feel extra personal, like telling the next chapter of their story in the place where it all began.

On the drive to the shoot, raindrops began to fall, but as soon as we reached the vineyards, the clouds cleared and we were gifted with the most beautiful, warm summer evening. With the river below and the vines glowing in the evening light, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Since Celina is a passionate pâtissière, we decided to add a very special detail to their shoot: a cake she created herself, decorated with the date of their wedding. It was not only a sweet personal touch but also the perfect idea for their save-the-date cards and wedding invitations.

To finish the session, we wandered down to a little beach by the Danube. The water, the soft light, and the quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to end the evening together.

We were so lucky to have our engagement session with Timna. From the very first meeting, it was clear she’s warm, open, and genuinely lovely – we felt completely at ease with her.

Normally we’re not very comfortable in front of the camera and were a bit nervous beforehand. But her relaxed, kind approach instantly put us at ease. The whole session was easygoing and fun – and in the end, we didn’t just get beautiful photos, we had a really great time together!

You can really see how much she loves what she does. The photos are full of feeling, natural, and perfectly capture the emotions we felt that day.
