Karla and Simon had just celebrated their wedding in Austria when they packed their bags for a two-week honeymoon in the Canary Islands. Having visited before, the islands felt familiar and welcoming — the perfect place for their after-wedding photos.

We spent the entire photoshoot day together, from sunrise to sunset, with a little break in between to rest. The morning began barefoot in the soft golden sand of the Corralejo dunes.

Back at the Airbnb, Simon cooked breakfast and invited me to join — it honestly felt more like a trip with friends than work.

After a midday pause, we picked things up again with a little getting ready at the Airbnb before heading out to explore: the windmill Molino de El Roque and the whitewashed streets of El Cotillo.

One of the most personal moments came when Karla and Simon read new vows to each other — written a week after their wedding, with time to reflect on everything they had experienced. As they spoke by the ocean, the clouds opened and the sky filled with unexpected light. It was such a magical moment.

We ended the day with Karla and Simon running into the water, wedding clothes soaked and covered in sand, laughing the whole time. Back in the car, we were wet, sandy, and tired — but full of that “wow” feeling that comes with making a memory you’ll never forget.

We were lucky enough and honored to have Timna as our photographer for a couple shoot during our honeymoon on Fuerteventura. From the very first contact to receiving the finished pictures, it was an incredibly professional process and a truly beautiful experience.

The location planning for the shoot was tailored to our wishes, so we started the day early in the morning with Timna, in suit and dress, right at sunrise. Her relaxed yet professional way instantly took away our nervousness and made us feel completely natural in front of the camera. I (Simon) had never done such an extensive shoot before, but with Timna’s guidance, it was easy to go along with her suggestions.

After a little break back at our Airbnb — where Timna also captured our cozy breakfast — we continued in the evening, exploring different spots around town. The absolute highlight was the breathtaking sunset at the beach. Timna managed to capture the incredible atmosphere perfectly in her photos. Every location, every moment — everything was so well planned and thought out.

Timna didn’t just take beautiful photos; she gave us a whole day filled with joy and fun. We are so thankful for these precious memories and can truly recommend her to anyone.
