An Intimate Mountain Wedding in Mariazell, Austria
Amanda, originally from the US, and Mario, from Austria, met years ago in Costa Rica — and their wedding day carried the same adventurous, easygoing spirit that has always been part of their story.
On the wedding day itself, nothing was rushed. With only one fixed moment — the ceremony at 4pm — everyone could spend the rest of the day at their own pace. Amanda got ready with her hotel room door open, friends and family coming and going, her mom and best friend by her side, and a warm, lively energy in the room. She had even prepared small gifts and handwritten letters for her closest friends — a gesture that brought more than a few happy tears. Meanwhile, Mario took a quiet moment for himself at the lake, while Amanda shared an emotional first look with her dad before heading up the mountain.
Later, everyone took the gondola up the mountain together, where Amanda’s dad led the ceremony — making their vows in front of the peaks of Mariazell feel even more personal and heartfelt.
The celebration unfolded like a relaxed mountain festival: drinks at the bar, tapas and finger food, live music drifting through the air, and ice cream in the afternoon. When it got colder in the evening, people gathered around the bonfire — and danced even more to keep warm. Amanda and Mario moved between their guests with so much ease, soaking in every hug, every laugh, every little moment.
Amanda and Mario’s wedding didn’t feel like a “traditional wedding” at all, but like a once-in-a-lifetime gathering where people from all over the world came together to celebrate two people they deeply love.

Timna is absolutely incredible!! I searched everywhere and when I found Timna’s page it felt like “finally, this is what I’ve been looking for!”. She has a way of capturing moments that feel so soft and romantic but making them truly unique in the most aesthetically pleasing way. Working with her was a dream, she’s so creative and has so many inspiring ideas that the entire planning process felt seamless. She absolutely outdid herself for my wedding photos and I could not be happier!! She captured the feelings, in the small and big moments, throughout my wedding day and looking back at the photos I feel as thought I’ve lived the day again. I will recommend Timna to EVERYONE!! She is incredible and her work truly speaks for itself as to how talented she is!!!
